The fundraising team at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity manages relationships through our community, increasing awareness of our charity and raising vital funds to contribute to the cost of our care. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as our next Events Assistant! This is a fixed term role, up to 1 year, providing maternity leave cover. Working as part of the fundraising team, our Events Assistants support in creating, promoting and delivering a range of events, challenges and fundraising initiatives, they play a vital role by working closely with our supporters to increase awareness and income.
Job Responsibility:
Providing administrative support relating to the organisation and delivery of a range of fundraising events
Organising event equipment and materials, sourcing quotes and arranging delivery of any additional resources needed
Participation of events and fundraising initiatives
Working closely with our events volunteer team, developing relationships and managing volunteer attendance at events
Supporting marketing initiatives for events
Requirements:
Previous experience working within an administrative / customer service role
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Valid driving license and access to a vehicle which can be used for work purposes
