Job Responsibility

Assist in cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping and repairing equipment prior to an event
Drive Results - Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the technical qualifications section
Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise
Do the Right Thing - Complies with all Company security and safety measures
Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE
Report all health and safety issues to the HSE Manager or Project Manager onsite
At times the technicians will work as part of a team on larger scale projects

Requirements

Strong experience working as a Venue Technician or in a similar live events / technical role
Strong operational knowledge of live audio, video and playback systems within venue environments
Working knowledge of networked AV systems, including Dante audio networking
Experience operating user-level audio control systems and networked video distribution platforms
Ability to support live events under pressure, maintaining focus, accuracy and professionalism
Strong communication skills, with confidence working alongside performers, creatives and wider teams
A proactive, reliable and hands-on approach to technical delivery
A clear understanding of health and safety responsibilities in live venues

Job Responsibility

Lead and support technical operation for live shows, DJs, performers, and events across the venue
Operate sound, video, and playback systems (including sound desks and QLab) during live events
Carry out technical checks, testing, and event preparation to ensure smooth delivery
Troubleshoot live technical issues calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Liaise with performers, creatives, and internal teams to deliver consistent technical standards
Maintain safe working practices, ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures at all times

Must have a good working knowledge of all types of audio visual equipment including operation, set-up, troubleshooting, and explanation of equipment.
Computer proficiency and an understanding of a variety of systems including computer platforms such as Teams and Zoom as well as video cameras and switching, projection, audio boards, teleconferencing, and videotaping.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently, and follow directions from the supervisor or on-site leader.

Job Responsibility

Work closely with clients, Project Managers, and other Event Techs to ensure the successful completion of events.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all services Markey’s provides to Lilly.
Direct interaction with end user/customer as an audiovisual technician, customer service representative, and technical advisor.
Perform technical support and other tasks in assigned areas: Operate equipment in auditoriums and meeting spaces
Set up and strike equipment as necessary for events
Assist with video tapings, in various roles, in various venues as needed
Provide support for broadcasts in auditoriums and other venues
Perform scheduled/unscheduled technical duties as needed
Assume responsibility and oversight of the technical elements of the event when assigned. Provide feedback to Project Managers and the Management team to resolve any customer concerns.

Job Responsibility

Build custom cables and assist in the fabrication of electrical components, as needed and as allowed based on local regulations and individual qualifications
Troubleshoot and solve power issues when they occur, working closely with Encore operations team and venue engineering
Assist in the cross training of AV Technicians and as a lead (small team of 2-3 technicians) in the area of power distribution
