Mindspace is looking for a visionary, hands-on leader to launch and manage a one-of-a-kind events and conference venue in Tel Aviv, Israel. This high-end destination will cater to corporate events, conferences, performances, and large-scale private gatherings. Located next to the Savidor Center train station, the “Beyond” building features premium event spaces alongside a fully operational in-house catering kitchen. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of strategic oversight and operational expertise, with a strong background in hospitality, P&L management, events, and food & beverage operations. This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a premium venue from the ground up, shaping every aspect of its identity, offering, growth, and success.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the full operational and commercial management of the venue from pre-launch through daily operations
Recruit, build, and manage a multidisciplinary team spanning sales, operations, culinary, and event production
Coordinate and supervise event planning, setup, execution, and breakdown across a range of formats (e.g., conferences, performances, corporate functions)
Establish operational procedures, budgets, KPIs, and business plans, ensuring profitability and long-term sustainability
Ensure compliance with all local safety, health, and licensing regulations
Lead the development and execution of the venue’s go-to-market strategy, including event sales, marketing, and partnerships
Develop relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and service providers, and lead all negotiations and contract management
Serve as the public and strategic face of the venue, cultivating partnerships and driving long-term business growth
Design and implement high standards for guest experience, service delivery, and operational excellence
Manage the culinary and catering operations in collaboration with the kitchen team, ensuring quality and profitability
Requirements:
10+ years of senior management experience in the hospitality, events, or F&B sectors
Proven track record in launching, operating, or scaling complex venues, such as convention centers, hotels, premium conference or events centers
Deep understanding of event sales, operations, workflows, guest services, and food & beverage management
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
ability to hire and inspire cross-functional teams
Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
Fluent in Hebrew and English
