Event Support Assistant role for a large-scale event in Glasgow. The role involves various shifts from March 11th to March 15th, 2025, in areas such as Athlete Registration, Athlete Support, and Judging. The position requires being on your feet for the full shift and involves front-facing customer service duties.
Job Responsibility:
Warmly welcoming and greeting attendees
Managing the check-in process and registering visitor details
Following strict health & safety procedures
Directing guests to facilities including food/drink areas and toilets
Answering general enquiries as required
Requirements:
Experience in any front-facing or customer service role
A positive, customer-focused approach
Confidence using technology (e.g., iPads for check-in)
Professional appearance and manner
Clear, confident communication skills
Able to commit to a minimum of two shifts
Have reliable transport for early start and late finish times
Able to be on feet for full duration of shift
Nice to have:
Backgrounds in Customer Service, Retail, Sales, Promotions or Events
