Job Description:

The role involves planning, developing, and executing HPE’s flagship event showcase and brand experience. It includes responsibilities such as aligning showcases with business objectives, collaborating with internal teams, managing vendors and budgets, and ensuring seamless execution of events while incorporating innovative solutions such as AI for efficiencies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for event showcases that align with HPE’s business objectives, event goals, and overall content and messaging strategy
  • Research and identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs to inform showcase development
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of event showcases, including product demos, interactive displays, immersive experiences and budget management
  • Coordinate with product marketing teams, solution architects, and subject matter experts to develop compelling showcase content
  • Identify and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners involved in showcase production
  • Oversee the design and production of showcase materials, ensuring they meet HPE’s branding and quality standards
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure venues and showcase setups meet the company’s standards and event needs
  • Oversee setup, execution, and teardown of showcases, ensuring all operational aspects are managed efficiently
  • Work closely with internal teams, including brand, sales, product management, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for showcase initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all showcase-related matters, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners
  • Provide on-site leadership and support during events, ensuring all showcase elements are executed according to plan including oversight of event staff, vendors, and volunteers to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly
  • Implement strategies to enhance audience engagement in the showcases, such as interactive demos, live polling, and Q&A sessions
  • Collect and analyze attendee feedback on showcases to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Use insights from feedback to refine showcase strategies and enhance future showcases
  • Monitor and analyze showcase performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, and feedback scores
  • Prepare post-event reports, including showcase analysis and recommendations for future events, presenting findings and insights to senior leadership and other stakeholders
  • Serve as HPE Brand liaison for events, ensuring creative concepts for various brand placements and activations
  • Provide executive level overviews of the full brand and showcase experience
  • Manage cross-functional teams to timelines and budget, providing direction and guidance
  • Work with event program manager to develop and execute merchandising plans across the event

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in event management, with a focus on showcases or product demonstrations, preferably in a technology setting
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing high-impact showcases
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Cvent, Bizzabo, Salesforce, Rain Focus, Airtable, or similar)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours as needed for events
