Job Responsibility:

  • Arrange chairs, tables, and staging according to event plans
  • Ensure venues meet specific event requirements
  • Follow directions from the Coordinator of Cultural Programs
  • Assist with event preparation and cleanup
  • Communicate effectively with campus staff, students, and vendors
  • Operate or assist in operating lifting and moving equipment
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • Current OCCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours for the Fall or Spring semester or enrolled in a minimum of 3 hours for the Summer semester
  • Or current OCCC student with a Federal Work-Study award
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license
  • Basic understanding of event setups and general office tasks
  • Physical ability to move and arrange furniture and equipment
  • Ability to read simple drawings and plans
  • Good organizational skills
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt
