Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Session Content Lead to drive the management and execution of high-quality session content for our enterprise-level events. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker with a strong understanding of industry trends, audience engagement, and content development – leveraging AI to drive efficiency or provide added value to our attendees. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that each session resonates with our target audiences, enhances the attendee experience, and aligns with the company’s broader objectives. This role will continuously put forward ideas and plans that raise the bar for our attendees, delivering must-attend session programs or content.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for event sessions, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals, event themes, and key messaging
  • Partner with event stakeholders, including product marketing, sales, and executive leadership, to define content goals and objectives for sessions
  • Ensure tight content alignment between showcase demos and sessions
  • Research industry trends, competitor events, and audience preferences to identify content opportunities and inform session topics
  • Define target audiences for each session and create content tailored to their needs, interests, and pain points
  • Oversee and manage the curation of session content to timelines and deliverables
  • Ability to oversee or manage session scheduling with prioritization for mainstage content that will set the foundation of the content that follows
  • Manage agency vendors to support the session content program including titles, abstracts and presentation copy writing
  • Manage the end-to-end process of speaker recruitment, briefing, and content preparation to ensure high-quality presentations
  • Provide guidance and support to speakers, including preparing them for session delivery, refining presentations, and ensuring content is on-brand and on-message
  • Coordinate with event producers and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of session content, including A/V requirements and virtual event platform integration if applicable
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on all content before it goes live or is presented at the event
  • Develop strategies to enhance audience engagement during sessions, such as through Q&A, live polls, and interactive elements
  • Gather and analyze attendee feedback post-event to assess the effectiveness of session content and make recommendations for future improvements
  • Support the event production team during event execution, ensuring that session content is delivered seamlessly
  • Gather data on session performance, including attendee engagement, feedback, and session ratings
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving future event content, based on attendee feedback and industry trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in event content creation, program management, or a related field, preferably in a large enterprise environment
  • Proven track record of developing or managing session content for corporate events, conferences, or similar large-scale engagements
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sessions, speakers, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Ability to think strategically, with a focus on business outcomes and audience engagement
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, senior leaders, and external partners
  • Experience working with event management platforms, virtual event tools, and A/V technologies
  • Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
