Job Description:

Takes guest orders and serves food and beverages in a friendly manner consistent with the company’s steps of service. Occasionally performs additional duties such as escorting guests to tables, setting up and clearing tables, and basic preparation and breakdown tasks. Will also check the identification of patrons to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist servers in delivering food plates to guests
  • Clean, set and re-set tables continuously, assuming responsibility for station, tables and side duties
  • Serve water, bread and coffee and greet guests by name whenever possible during the course of meal service
  • Takes guest orders and serves food and beverages
  • Occasionally performs additional duties such as escorting guests to tables, setting up and clearing tables, and basic preparation and breakdown tasks
  • Will also check the identification of patrons to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol

Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length
  • Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited space
  • Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs., including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items on a regular and continuing basis
  • Understand and respond to employee and guest verbal requests and visual cues in a loud and extremely busy environment
