Requirements

3+ years working in event safety and/or security at a multinational company in a role supervising security for events
BA/BS degree in business, management, criminal justice, or an equivalent combination of education, military, law enforcement, safety or security experience
Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally for events at least 50% of the time (possibly up to 10 consecutive days)
Must be customer service oriented
Must have a valid passport

Job Responsibility

Assist with pre-event planning of vendors, event staffing deployments, emergency plans, communication protocols, risk assessments, etc
Ability to attend pre-event inspections either on-site or video conference
Assist, and in some cases lead, overseeing event security vendors (uniformed security, law enforcement, K/9’s, Hotel Security, H&S Consultants, etc.) during events
Provide a security briefing to event day staff regarding the event
Assist with ensuring the overall event is safe and secure per Workday event standards
Review and complete incident reports during events
Completion of post-event recaps
All other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
4-7+ years’ experience in corporate security
At least one year conducting and writing physical security assessments
Prior experience in event security/executive protection
Experience leading and implementing medium to large programs
Proven executive presence and ability to interact with and present to senior management and peers across multiple departments
Strong interpersonal skills

Job Responsibility

Collaborate with internal and external partners to devise detailed security plans for events and public engagements
Provide security advances and risk assessments for corporate facilities, hotels, ballrooms, event spaces, and restaurants
Participate in long term planning cycles and provide revised security plans based on updates and changes
Work with T-Mobile Corporate Events and Marketing to plan and coordinate non-executive corporate events
Connect with partners at event venues and remote corporate offices to prepare for future events
Conduct Technical Security Countermeasures (TSCM) inspections and ensure the privacy of secured spaces
Review and assess the current conditions of secured spaces and make sound recommendations that mitigate potential vulnerabilities
Create and develop security-related products, standardized procedures documents, presentations, and metrics tracking
Follow up on ongoing security enhancement projects and report status updates
Research and prioritize current or potential security vulnerabilities to produce appropriate mitigation strategies
