Job Responsibility:
Sell banquet food, beverage, and meeting room rentals
Plan menus and set agendas for events
Facilitate communication with hotel staff before, during, and after events
Host hotel tours for prospective clients
Maintain strong customer relationships
Participate in and potentially lead event and staff meetings
Collaborate with sales and events team and administrative assistants
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least two years of hotel or event management experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Flexibility to work varied hours and schedules
True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in general computer knowledge
Extremely detail oriented and organized
Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program
