Job Responsibility:
Oversee and direct the execution of sales plans to drive event sales revenue ensuring alignment with club goals and regional sales standards
Provide direction to Event Sales Coordinator to achieve targets by fostering a results-driven and collaborative sales environment
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insights that support the development of sales strategies
Cultivate and manage relationships with clients and prospects through proactive engagement and networking opportunities within and beyond the club
Oversee and guide the client consultation process offering recommendations and assisting in the development of event solutions that align with client expectations and club objectives
Evaluate and act on client feedback to identify opportunities for service enhancements and improved client satisfaction
Establish standards for documentation and tracking of event-related activities and expenses in compliance with financial and operational policies
Utilize sales management tools such as Cater Pro and Power BI to assist in tracking sales performance and managing event data effectively
Assist others and take on additional tasks as assigned by management
Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions
Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff
Follow safe working practices ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same
Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to the role
Address and resolve challenges using available resources working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations
Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team's success
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in commissioned sales within hospitality or events
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
Capacity to work in varying temperatures and environments
Ability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold as required
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
Effective communication skills including talking and hearing with sufficient visual acuity
Willingness to work additional hours including weekends and/or holidays
Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined on the weekly schedule
Nice to have:
College degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field
Experience establishing marketing and prospecting programs to drive event revenues
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and event management software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and staff
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
