Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to exceed event revenue targets
Identify new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with corporate, social, and private event clients
Lead, mentor, and guide a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team goals
Consult with clients to design tailored event solutions, manage negotiations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the process
Coordinate with operations, catering, and other internal teams to guarantee seamless event execution
Track sales performance
report insights and recommendations to management
Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities, supporting marketing initiatives and building visibility
Requirements:
Proven experience (5+ years) in event sales or a related field, with a strong record of achieving targets
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating sales teams
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
In-depth understanding of the event industry, including trends and service offerings
Strong organizational skills
able to handle multiple events at once
Proficiency with CRM software and event management tools
Nice to have:
Background in hospitality, hotel management, or event planning
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality management, or related field
A strong network within the event, hospitality, or corporate sectors
Experience developing and executing sales strategies
Familiarity with budgeting and contract review
