Event Sales Manager

• Respond to inquiries and actively solicit new business with the intention of confirming profitable catering business and achieving Monthly Production Goals
• Uncover clients’ implied needs and wishes and create highly customized proposals accordingly
• Create and conduct memorable site inspection experiences
• Entertain wedding and social tastemakers on a regular basis
• Coordinate the sales efforts between sales and catering departments to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues
• Plan and/or attend and/or participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients
• Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through creative upselling and ensuring effective communication
• Supervise the execution of banquet events
• Ensure clients’ satisfaction during events
• Keep Director of Events promptly and fully informed of all potential problems or unusual matters
• Comply with Four Seasons standards for sales and marketing
• Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct

• 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role
• Solid selling and interpersonal skills
• Energy and commitment to meet and exceed personal goals
• Proven track record in pursuing, evaluating soliciting, selling and confirming business
• Strong command of the English language
• Legal work authorization in the United States
