We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our growing team. You will generate sales by proactive engagement, manage and respond to incoming event enquiries, maintain and oversee event programs and packages. You will engage all parts of the business to service enquiries, create menus with costing as well as ensuring after-sales feedback.
Job Responsibility:
Create new business strategies targeting specific venues within the portfolio for new business
Manage inbound enquiries across all venues in Melbourne and Sydney, as allocated
Develop & maintain an active client base & relationships perpetuating future business
Meet budget sales targets and work toward exceeding these
Database management
Conduct site visits with clients
Assist with event management as required & follow up post function/event
Requirements:
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and budgets
Sales experience within the hospitality industry is essential
Experience using Tripleseat, SevenRooms or similar event management and reservations software
Understanding of sales strategies and practices
Exemplary planning and organisation skills
Exceptional communication both verbal and written
Highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective professional relationships
High level of attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly
Strong stakeholder management skills
Positive attitude and driven to succeed
Nice to have:
Studies in business, events or related discipline is advantageous
