Job Description:

The role involves supporting the Sales & Marketing department, preparing sales-related documents, promoting brand awareness, and using sales techniques to maximize revenue. Responsibilities also include answering guest inquiries, serving as the point of contact for clients, and maintaining company standards in guest service and team collaboration. The position is full-time and onsite, based at Guangzhou Marriott Hotel Nansha, with opportunities for training and development in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing
  • prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process
  • promote awareness of brand image
  • gather materials and assemble information packages
  • use sales techniques to maximize revenue
  • answer guest questions about property facilities/services
  • serve as the point of contact for clients
  • communicate with clients by phone and email to address questions and requests
  • follow company policies and procedures
  • maintain positive working relationships with others
  • comply with quality assurance expectations and standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to perform general office duties such as filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying
  • proficiency in preparing sales-related documents
  • ability to promote brand awareness and use sales techniques
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
