As a CSPM, you get to be a ‘Project Owner’ for experiential work delivered by Creative Solutions. You will be accountable for seamless, cost efficient and effective end-to-end execution of physical, virtual, and hybrid Shell brand events and experiences. You will be part of a dynamic community of creative specialists globally. In this role, the CSPM will primarily focus on the end-to-end delivery of one of the clients flagship global STEM and innovation programmes. The programme challenges student teams from around the world to design, build and drive ultra-energy-efficient vehicles, culminating in a series of high-profile competition events. The CSPM will be accountable for driving planning, stakeholder alignment, agency and supplier management, on-the-ground delivery and continuous improvement of the experience.
Job Responsibility:
End-to-end project management of a mix of industry-led events, such as a programme of physical, virtual, or hybrid events, public festivals, business conferences, exhibitions, tradeshows, incentives and hospitality programmes
Manage projects with an individual value of up to $5 million
End-to-end project management of multiple concurrent event deliveries ranging in complexity and scale, from brief to creative development, budget management, production delivery and post project review
Liaising with business stakeholders and the CSPM Lead to understand a project’s objectives, translating these into clear, compliant, and inspiring briefs
working closely with internal and external teams to deliver the best-in-class experiential projects that meet or exceed business partner’s expectations across all key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ownership of event budgets, focusing on managing project cost and delivering cost savings and avoidance to your business partners
Managing third parties and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
utilising a carefully curated roster of agencies and suppliers
Delivering projects in compliance with the Shell Brand standards, HSSE (health, safety, security, and environment), contracts and procurement, information risk management, data privacy, and other applicable functional standards
Proactively managing project’s challenges & risks and setting in place action plans to keep projects on track
Overall accountability and coordination of onsite events
The role may require travel of up to 20%
Requirements:
Extensive experience in managing industry-owned and company-owned events (virtual, F2F or hybrid), ranging in complexity and scale across the globe
Significant knowledge and experience on the requirements needed to produce large scale outdoor festivals/events, production manager experience will be essential
Proficiency in strategic goal setting and on-target delivery of a broad range of experiential projects and formats
a strong track record of successful end-to-end delivery from briefing and conceptualisation to onsite/ online management, execution, and evaluation
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
ability to work as part of an integrated team effectively delivering world-class events
Budget management skills, championing cost savings and avoidance influenced by enterprise-first behaviours
A strong understanding of the Shell Business Principles, HSSE Frameworks, Brand and functional standards compliance, and its implementation in relation to the delivery of projects
Ability to lead alignment, simplification, and efficiencies in project management
Competence to solve business problems efficiently
