We are looking for a skilled Event Production Artist to join our creative team in San Diego, California. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and expertise in graphic design and print production. The role involves creating high-quality visual content for various projects, including event signage, brochures, and banner ads, while ensuring consistency and precision in all deliverables.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and produce visually compelling materials such as brochures, banners, and event signage
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure all artwork aligns with project objectives and brand guidelines
  • Use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other tools within the Adobe Creative Cloud suite to develop and finalize designs
  • Prepare files for print production, ensuring accuracy in dielines and specifications
  • Assist in the creation of digital assets for experiential and corporate events
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines
  • Adapt designs for various formats, including print and digital platforms
  • Ensure all production files are organized and archived appropriately
  • Troubleshoot design and production issues, providing effective solutions
  • Work closely with vendors to oversee the production process and ensure quality output

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in graphic design or production art
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
  • Strong understanding of print production processes and specifications
  • Experience creating designs for corporate and experiential events
  • Knowledge of dielines and file preparation for print
