Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with the sales team and head chef to deliver exceptional events
Plan event layouts, oversee venue setup, and ensure all event elements are perfectly arranged
Coordinate staffing needs, preparing work schedules for banquet servers and event staff
Oversee the smooth execution of meals and beverages, ensuring seamless service
Manage liquor and soft drink availability when required and maintain compliance with service regulations
Act as a leader and mentor, coaching and training team members
Requirements:
Strong leadership, motivational, and coaching skills
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction
In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including A/V, F&B outlets, culinary, engineering, and sales
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust and rapport
A proactive mindset with foresight to anticipate guest and event needs
A comprehensive understanding of event planning processes from start to finish
