Job Description

Our client, a public health association, is seeking an Events Operations Coordinator to join their team for 2 months with potential to extend in Washington, D.C.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage food & beverage, AV, and logistics for annual meeting events
  • Coordinate catering, vendors, room assignments, and function sheets
  • Serve as liaison for affiliated organizations and event partners
  • Oversee ADA accommodations, housing logistics, and reporting/analytics
  • Manage staff schedules, travel, and per diem coordination
  • Support speaker communications and shared event inboxes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Event coordination experience preferred, especially in food & beverage and audio-visual logistics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with vendors, conferences, or large-scale events preferred
