Job Responsibility:
Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets
source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers, venues, and external personnel
oversee logistics including transport, catering, production, and decor
identify and resolve issues proactively
ensure health, safety, and industry standards are met
Lead, motivate, and support the event team with hands-on guidance
collaborate with senior management to continuously improve offerings
coordinate with internal departments to optimise workflows and processes
Deliver consistently high service for clients, partners, and attendees
contribute to event-related social media
provide input into sales and marketing strategies connected to events
Analyse event performance and prepare post-event and quarterly reports with insights and recommendations
Requirements:
Minimum three years’ experience as an Event Manager with hands-on delivery in Malta
proven ability to manage events end-to-end
fluency in English
strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
experience budgeting and financial oversight
confident negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills
flexible to meet event schedules
proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Nice to have:
Experience with international or multi-day conferences
leadership experience mentoring junior team members
exposure to sales or marketing strategies related to events
familiarity with hybrid or remote team structures
experience coordinating event-related social media
