We are looking for a self-motivated, organised and detailed-oriented individual to join our Communications team on a 6-month fixed -term maternity cover contract (potential for a further 6 month extension). Based in London, on the trading floor, the scope of the role covers Europe with a focus on the United Kingdom and France. As an active member of the Global Markets Communications team, you will work on all matters related to communication activities, with a specific focus on client events and conferences.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the full event management process, for conferences, client events and entertainment, digital or in-person
Prepare a detailed proposal including cost estimate, budget management and timeline
Liaise with third party providers when needed
Design and manage event website (Eventogy, Evenium)
Provide regular status report to event stakeholders, including delegate registration updates
Oversee all logistics aspects and keep stakeholders informed about the event’s progress
Run the corporate access component of 3 proprietary conferences in Paris, all three also requiring on-site presence in Paris: 24 June, 26 September, and 9-10 December 2026
Work closely with the Head of Global Markets Communications and the GMD product lines in drafting relevant internal communications on deals, awards, rankings, procedures and disseminating these to all Global Markets by email /publishing on the intranet, as applicable
Work closely with product lines, and Global Markets Management in drafting and publishing internal appointments or business re-organisation announcements
Assist in the delivery of internal communications projects
Coordinate with Head Office on story publication via various communication channels and ensure all internal communication is consistent with the company’s strategy, key messages, style guidelines
Requirements:
Experience in events management, ideally in the financial industry
Event management
Project management
Proficient in English, both oral and written
MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proactive nature with a real "can do" attitude
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility, agility, autonomy
Accuracy, attention to detail, capacity to work within tight deadlines
