Job Description:

This is a largely desk-based, admin-focused role, ideal for an organised and detail-driven individual who enjoys structured work and is looking for a predominantly remote position. There will be occasional opportunities to attend events on site, but this role can be fully effective working remotely. The Event Health & Safety Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring events are delivered safely and compliantly by supporting the preparation, coordination, and management of Health & Safety documentation and processes. You’ll act as a key support to the delivery team, liaising with clients, suppliers, and venues, while keeping documentation accurate, up to date, and compliant.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and manage event-specific Health & Safety documentation
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), safety plans, and event packs
  • Ensure all documentation meets relevant legislation and best practice standards
  • Maintain clear and organised document control systems
  • Support multiple events simultaneously, tracking requirements and deadlines
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and venues to gather and manage safety information
  • Assist with pre-event planning, checklists, and schedules
  • Support post-event reporting and record keeping
  • Act as a point of contact for Health & Safety-related queries
  • Chase outstanding documentation and approvals
  • Support the wider team with general administrative and coordination tasks
  • Attend events on site when required
  • Support the delivery team with documentation checks and coordination

Requirements:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident working remotely and independently
  • Competent with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations role

Nice to have:

  • Experience within events, Health & Safety, construction, or a related environment
  • Familiarity with RAMS or compliance documentation
  • IOSH / NEBOSH qualification, or willingness to work towards one
  • Interest in live events and operational delivery
