Job Description:

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-time Event Custodian Supervisor for ASM Global/Sames Auto Arena.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise & assign duties to the housekeeping staff
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all types of flooring throughout the facility
  • Ensure that all areas remain free of trash
  • Ensure restrooms, dressing and locker rooms are well maintained, and tile surfaces are dry and clean
  • Maintain all glass, steel, and office surfaces through dusting, cleaning and polishing
  • Responsible for the proper storage of facility event equipment when not in use
  • Ensure all emergency pathways are kept free and clear of obstructions
  • Responsible for keeping housekeeping equipment and tools in working condition and notifying supervisor of any broken parts
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are cleaned and returned to their proper place when finished with them
  • Complete daily checklist to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our patrons attending each event
  • Assist clients with requests during events
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve housekeeping operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to meet customer expectations
  • Ability to work effectively as a team and with other building departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Management

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D is required
  • 2+ years custodial experience is required with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
  • Arena or venue experience is preferred
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills required
  • MUST BE 18+ YEARS OLD TO APPLY
