ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-time Event Custodian Supervisor for ASM Global/Sames Auto Arena.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise & assign duties to the housekeeping staff
Maintain the cleanliness of all types of flooring throughout the facility
Ensure that all areas remain free of trash
Ensure restrooms, dressing and locker rooms are well maintained, and tile surfaces are dry and clean
Maintain all glass, steel, and office surfaces through dusting, cleaning and polishing
Responsible for the proper storage of facility event equipment when not in use
Ensure all emergency pathways are kept free and clear of obstructions
Responsible for keeping housekeeping equipment and tools in working condition and notifying supervisor of any broken parts
Ensure all equipment and supplies are cleaned and returned to their proper place when finished with them
Complete daily checklist to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our patrons attending each event
Assist clients with requests during events
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve housekeeping operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to meet customer expectations
Ability to work effectively as a team and with other building departments
Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Management
Requirements:
High School diploma or G.E.D is required
2+ years custodial experience is required with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
Arena or venue experience is preferred
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills required
