We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our Franchise Events team. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing fan conventions, ensuring a memorable experience for attendees, guests, and partners. If you’re passionate about pop culture, fandoms, and creating exceptional events, this role is perfect for you!
Job Responsibility:
Create and maintain event planning documents including schedules, budgets and logistics
Collaborate with stakeholders to define event goals, themes, and objectives
Coordinate communication, asset requests, and materials as needed
Attend key meetings, take notes, contribute to the ideation processes, and ensure appropriate follow through of relevant action items discussed
Arrange credentials, accommodations, and general logistics for staff and participants
Assist managers with overseeing setup, teardown, and on-site operations during the convention
Assist managers with addressing any issues or emergencies that arise during the event
Some travel and non-traditional work hours may be required depending on business needs
Ability to maintain highly confidential information
Assist managers with routing materials for approval and other various tasks as needed
Requirements:
Schedules, budget, key meeting requirements, credentials, badges, logistics, on-site at the event, set up, break down
Highly organized with keen eye for detail
Will need to juggle multiple priorities
Discretion and good judgement is imperative, will be privy to confidential proprietary information
Experience managing large scale conferences or events
Must be able to stand for long periods
