Event Coordinator

• Conduct on-site tours with clients
• Primary point of contact for assigned meetings and events
• Coordinate outside service needs with food and beverage partner, & other vendors
• Lead and coordinate pre-con meetings with clients
• Create event documentation, including floor plans, event riders, and operational details.
• Serve as primary liaison between client and facility departments ensuring accurate setup and implementation of necessary changes
• Acts as Manager on Duty for scheduled event ensuring successful event execution
• Prepare event estimates and invoices for assigned events
• Assist with special projects and major events as needed (graduations, concerts, etc.)
• Performs various administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area of study preferred
• 1-3 years professional related work experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic technology
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must be highly motivated, self-directed, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds
