Job Description:

Event Concierge position at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, responsible for meeting group coordinators, analyzing banquet event orders, fulfilling special arrangements, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and providing excellent guest service in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions
Read and analyze banquet event order
Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
