Welcomes guests and takes drink orders from restaurant servers or directly from guests. Ensures guest age requirements are in compliance with current regulations for alcohol purchase by checking identification. Mixes cocktails and other bar beverages following established recipes. Generates new drink recipes for approval by bar management. Collects payment for drinks and follows all cash and credit handling procedures. Ensures bar area is clean, and fully stocked with needed products for beverage mixing and serving guests. Follows alcohol awareness process for preventing intoxication and effectively handles situations with intoxicated guests. Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility:
Ensures a clean, sanitized and well stocked bar
Greets customers and takes drink order
provides information about products
Follows company recipes and product directions for mixing beverages
Collects payments and operates cash drawers for drinks and/or food served following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions
secures all monies at the end of each shift
Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deals with intoxicated guests
Follows all customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies and procedures
Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Requirements:
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 5.5 hours in length
Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited space
Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs., including, but not limited to, kegs, Co2 tanks, soda bag in a box and lifting trays of food or food items on a regular and continuing basis
Understand and respond to employee and guest verbal requests and visual cues in a loud and extremely busy environment
A minimum of a High School diploma is preferred but may be waived with the right level of experience
