Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring every detail is handled efficiently. Responsibilities include assisting with logistics, vendor management, event setup and breakdown, attendee communications, and maintaining schedules. You will be working onsite Monday to Friday for a non-profit that has a great benefit package.

Job Responsibility

  • Support event planning from concept to completion
  • Coordinate logistics and communicate with vendors and suppliers
  • Assist with event setup, registration, and teardown
  • Help manage event timelines and budgets
  • Provide onsite support to ensure smooth execution

Requirements

  • Need at least 1 year of solid meeting or event planning experience
  • Prior experience handling event coordination, arranging event details and facilitating event operations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suit
