Our client, a national nonprofit organization, is seeking an Event Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for a two-day assignment in Washington, D.C.
Job Responsibility
Provide onsite support for event operations and registration
Assist with attendee check-in and registration coordination
Support room setup, materials prep, and event logistics
Direct attendees and provide general event assistance
Help coordinate breakout sessions and event flow
Assist with miscellaneous projects and support event staff as needed
Requirements
Prior event, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with attention to detail
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
Proactive mindset with a no task too small attitude
Professional demeanor and ability to assist attendees in a fast-paced environment
