Memory Box is an independent electronic music project run by a sole trader, focused on underground culture, events, music discovery, archives and creative work within electronic music. We are looking for a calm, organised and proactive Event Assistant Apprentice to support the running, coordination and development of Memory Box events and creative projects. This is an operational and organisational role focused on helping things happen smoothly behind the scenes — supporting planning, communication, coordination and delivery across projects.
Job Responsibility
Supporting mailing lists, announcements and basic communications
Assisting with day-to-day organisation across Memory Box projects
Helping prepare materials and information for funding and development work, including supporting external funding writers or partners
Helping keep track of tasks, deadlines and ongoing project work
Supporting event-day operations and logistics
Helping organise assets, information and documentation for projects and events
Assisting with research and development of future projects
Helping bring structure to ongoing creative ideas and ensuring follow-through
Supporting the planning and coordination of events, guests, artists and releases
Helping manage timelines, schedules and event preparation
Requirements
16+ years old
English & maths GCSE or equivalent grade above C/4
