Job Description

We are looking for a Event and Convention Coordinator for a top entertainment client in Anaheim, CA!

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate closely with catering and convention services teams to develop AV estimates, create ground plans, and schedule employees and external labor for special events held throughout the resort’s meeting and event venues
  • Partner with facility and design teams to define project scope and support the design and implementation of background music systems, entertainment venues, and performance spaces

Requirements

  • Ability to create AV estimates based off information provided by clients and catering sales partners
  • Ability to read and understand ground plans and schematics
  • Understanding and basic use Microsoft word, excel, and outlook
  • Time management and multitasking skills
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Familiar with Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) and pre-convention meetings and planning
  • Ability to generate ground plans & schematics
  • Ability to write project justifications and scope documents for infrastructure update
