Are you passionate about supporting people on their journey to recovery? The Nelson Trust is looking for a caring, reliable Driver to join our Residential Services team. You’ll play a vital role in helping clients access the very best opportunities for long-term recovery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely transport clients to mutual aid meetings
  • Build positive relationships that encourage engagement with treatment
  • Carry out weekly safety checks on vehicles and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Support our team by assisting different departments as directed

Requirements:

  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Experience in a residential setting is desirable
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
  • First aid and health & safety awareness
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to build supportive relationships with clients

Nice to have:

Category D1 for minibus driving is a plus
