This is a critical, hands-on role at the very heart of the creative process. You will act as the 'creative compass' for projects, using your deep olfactive knowledge to guide the development of commercially successful fragrances.
Job Responsibility:
Partner daily with perfumers, acting as their key creative guide to help them win briefs
Meticulously evaluate new fragrance submissions, providing precise, actionable, and constructive sensory feedback
Interpret and deconstruct client briefs to understand all technical and creative requirements
Suggest innovative fragrance ideas and modifications to align submissions with the project's goals
Collaborate closely with the Application Lab to coordinate and test fragrance performance in final product bases
Act as a regional trend expert, maintaining the fragrance library, and analyzing new product launches across the markets
Requirements:
A background in Chemistry or a related science is highly advantageous
Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience as a fragrance evaluator within a fragrance house
A trained, nuanced, and expert sense of smell is essential
Strong knowledge of fragrance families, raw materials, and olfactive terminology
Familiarity with market trends and key products, ideally across the region
Excellent ability to articulate abstract scent concepts and provide clear, constructive feedback
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills to manage multiple deadlines
