Job Description:

Our client, a leading multi-utility and EV infrastructure specialist, is expanding its EV division and seeking a skilled EV Installer to support the delivery of high-quality electric vehicle charge point installations. Based in London and the South East, suitable must be willing to travel

Job Responsibility:

Carry out the installation of electric vehicle charge points at commercial and industrial sites
Interpret and work from electrical diagrams, installation guides, and cable calculations
Adhere to site-specific programmes and health & safety protocols at all times
Complete and submit electrical certification using the NICEIC online portal
Maintain accurate records of works completed, identifying and resolving installation challenges
Provide updates to supervisors and collaborate with project teams
Participate in training and development sessions to enhance technical skills
Promote a positive safety culture and uphold professional standards across all projects

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or completion of an Approved Apprenticeship
1–3 years’ experience in commercial or industrial electrical environments
BS7671: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Full UK driving license
JIB or CSCS Gold Card

Nice to have:

C&G 2919 (EV Charging Installation)
C&G 2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing)
SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
Experience installing DC fast chargers (50kW–400kW+)
