The Customer Support (CS) organization is responsible for the installations, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. The Field Service Engineer executes regular basic, pre-defined maintenance and diagnostic activities under supervision.
Job Responsibility:
Execute regular basic, pre-defined maintenance and diagnostic activities under supervision
Analyze and make repairs at customer site
Execute regular maintenance, implement upgrades and Field Change Orders
Provide elementary training to the customer
Ensure proper operation of ASML machines at customer site
Provide 1st line support to customers
Manage and monitor ASML EUV equipment
Check for abnormalities in ASML EUV equipment
Analyze complex problems on-site and collaborate with 2nd line engineers to resolve them
Gather all information relevant for the problem, analyze using available means
Handover problem or problem aspects to others (2nd / 3rd line support)
Advise customer technical personnel in dealing with problems
Arrange with customer machine time window to execute procedure
Teach others on ASML products, tools, manuals, ways of working etc.
Provide appropriate support and assistance to less experienced ASML or local personnel
Signal possible improvements in manuals / procedures and ways of working
Plan and coordinate the activities of employees in the team, including client personnel
Deal with customer on multiple levels in all situations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in an Engineering field or equivalent
2-5 years in customer support engineering (Semi or other high-tech industry)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and flexibility
Good team player
Legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations
