Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and manage groupage shipments across Europe
  • Plan and arrange road freight transport using both internal and external haulage networks
  • Liaise with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure timely collection and delivery of goods
  • Prepare and manage all relevant documentation (CMRs, manifests, customs paperwork where applicable)
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing regular status updates to customers
  • Negotiate rates with hauliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and service
  • Ensure compliance with EU transport regulations and company procedures
  • Deal with transport incidents or delays, finding effective solutions and communicating with stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, providing high levels of customer service
  • Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., warehousing, customs, finance)

Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum experience in European road freight forwarding or a similar logistics role
  • Knowledge of European transport regulations, routing, and documentation requirements
  • Strong understanding of groupage and full-load logistics across Europe
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple shipments, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and professional approach

Nice to have:

Experience with Azyra freight management system desirable
