Job Description

NTT DATA is looking for a Manager with strong European Public Sector and Safety experience to join our Athens office. This role will be primarily accountable for delivery leadership across the client, while also being responsible for business development, stakeholder management, and growth across a selected EU Public Sector account. This is a hands-on technical role with real impact. You will be accountable for the development of the delivery organization and for strengthening our positioning, working in close coordination with internal stakeholders, consortium members, and strategic partners.

  • Leadership of European Public Sector Organizations and Program Management
  • Lead a delivery organization and ensure the right people are in the right roles across accounts and initiatives
  • Uphold organizational policies and standards, ensuring relevant regulations and rules are followed, and that changes are promptly identified and assessed
  • Report progress, needs, and forecasts to senior management
  • Build and maintain relationships with peer leaders and external partners to support operational decisions and strategic goals
  • Establish clear delivery governance focused on quality, KPIs, and continuous improvement
  • Business Development and Portfolio Growth
  • Grow the EU Public Sector business through strong client relationships and robust account plans
  • Own the pipeline end-to-end, including opportunity creation, positioning, solutioning, and leading bids (tenders, frameworks, renewals, and extensions)
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure high-quality execution and client satisfaction
  • Ensure effective governance across consortium members and partners, including performance management and issue resolution
  • Act as an escalation point when needed, driving timely corrective actions and stakeholder alignment

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT consultancy, program, and Delivery Management, having held similar management positions
  • Senior leadership experience in delivery management and/or consulting within the European Public Sector (Mandatory)
  • Strong people leadership in building teams, developing leaders, and running performance cycles with clarity and fairness
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication
  • Executive-level verbal and written communication skills to negotiate with and influence stakeholders
  • Expertise in risk mitigation and managing complex project portfolios
  • Experience negotiating business plans and managing relationships with external clients
  • A proven track record in business development: shaping opportunities, leading bids/tenders, and growing accounts
  • Manage relationships with key clients across a portfolio of customers
  • Flexibility to travel up to two times per month, depending on business needs.

  • Receive, assess, and prioritize technical challenges surfaced by QuNorth — translating partner needs into actionable requests for Microsoft engineering teams
  • Route problems to the right people across Microsoft's quantum labs in Lyngby, engineering teams in Redmond and Prague, and the broader Microsoft Quantum organization — and make sure they don't get lost in transit
