Job Description:

The European Business Manager for the HHC Tapes, Labels, and Graphics (TLG) business is responsible for growing market share profitably across the European region leveraging the full product portfolio of H.B. Fuller PSA technologies. This position will be responsible for executing the commercial strategy throughout Europe with people management responsibilities for the TLG commercial, technical service, and applications specialists located in the region. In addition to European team leadership and managing direct reports, this position will also have individual sales expectations and drive new business opportunities. The European Business manager will report to the Global Business Director Tapes, Labels and Graphics.

Job Responsibility:

  • Territory revenue responsibility: $20MM - accountable for delivering annual business results, aligned with the regional expectations for volume and margin
  • Profitably grows market share in European region – focused on delivering growth with new business while also maintaining existing business
  • Excels at value-selling, driving customer intimacy, and fostering new relationships
  • Effectively manages 3 – 4 direct reports for strong alignment to the regional and global strategy to deliver on market top projects and initiatives
  • Strong communication skills – viewed as a thought leader and providing market expertise to support customer needs
  • Implements pricing strategy and supports regional team in expertly delivering pertinent price increases
  • Provides voice of customer to the internal H.B. Fuller organization
  • Works closely with cross-functional team members and regional counterparts to achieve business goals

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience
  • related industry and B2B experience
  • Proven track record of successful market development and profitable growth
  • Experience in team leadership and direct management of personnel
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Bachelor’s or University Degree with a technical/mechanical, marketing, or chemistry background preferred
  • Up to 50% travel within the region

Nice to have:

  • Relevant technical and application knowledge of pressure sensitive adhesives
  • Experience in the tapes, labels, and graphics value chain
  • Resides in Germany
