Job Description

EUC Team Leader. Local Government. London. Contract. Keystream’s Local Government team is recruiting for an EUC Team Leader to support a London local authority on a short-term contract. This role is providing cover for a departing permanent manager while the authority recruits long term. It is a hands-on operational role with a strong focus on service stability and delivery. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading a small End User Computing team and completing a Windows 11 rollout, while ensuring day to day EUC operations continue to run effectively.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the EUC team, providing day to day technical and operational direction
  • Complete the remaining Windows 11 rollout across laptops and desktops
  • Oversee Intune, device builds, deployments and troubleshooting
  • Ensure operational handover of Windows 11 devices into BAU support
  • Manage service requests including desktop equipment, headsets and user devices
  • Provide face to face user support, including VIP and walk-in support
  • Maintain control of stock, assets and device logistics
  • Work closely with the service desk, infrastructure and applications teams
  • Support critical services in the run up to local elections
  • Produce clear updates on risks, issues and delivery progress

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading an EUC or desktop support function
  • Hands-on delivery of Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations
  • Strong knowledge of Intune and modern device management
  • Experience supporting users in a busy operational environment
  • Comfortable working in an office-based role with regular user interaction
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Local government or public sector experience
  • Experience supporting business-critical services
  • ITIL or service management background
