The End User Computing Engineer is responsible for implementing, operating, and supporting endpoint management solutions across the enterprise. This role focuses on execution, stability, and continuous improvement of existing services while ensuring a high-quality end-user experience.
Job Responsibility:
Operate and maintain endpoint management platforms across Windows, macOS, and mobile environments
Execute software deployments, patching, and configuration changes using established processes
Troubleshoot endpoint issues and partner with support teams to resolve escalations
Support endpoint lifecycle management including provisioning, compliance, and decommissioning
Assist senior engineers in implementing endpoint solutions and improvements
Identify and escalate patterns impacting reliability, security, or user experience
Develop and maintain operational documentation and runbooks
Support endpoint monitoring and respond to alerts
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response activities
Requirements:
Experience managing Windows and macOS endpoints in an enterprise environment
Hands-on experience with endpoint tools such as Intune, Configuration Manager, or Jamf Pro
Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
Experience supporting endpoint provisioning, patching, and software deployment processes
Understanding of identity systems such as Active Directory and Entra ID
Foundational knowledge of endpoint security and compliance practices
Familiarity with enterprise IT operations and support workflows
Execution-focused, with strong attention to detail
Collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and escalation judgment
Nice to have:
Exposure to zero-touch provisioning (Autopilot, Apple ADE)
Experience with MDM/UEM platforms
Familiarity with enterprise SSO and compliance frameworks
Entry-level certifications such as MD-102 or Apple ACSP
Experience with automation or scripting improvements in endpoint environments
Curious and eager to learn
Ability to adapt in a fast changing technical environment
