Job Description

We are looking for a Chemical Regulatory Science professional with deep understanding and knowledge of EU REACH. You will join the registration team in the product stewardship function of a global speciality chemical business as their EU REACH Subject Matter Expert. You will focus on the non-routine aspects of REACH – in addition to deep REACH expertise you will be a critical thinker, able to interpret and apply REACH to solve complex issues. You will be responsible for complex registrations from start to finish; you will devise strategy, review existing data, gather new data to fill gaps by working with consortia/SIEFs and placing/monitoring studies at CROs. You will lead project teams of internal and external technical experts and prepare/submit the registration dossiers. You are likely to have a proven track record in Chemical Regulatory Affairs with direct registration experience – this is likely to be with a consultancy or a chemical substance manufacturing business. This is a dynamic, changing and challenging field requiring an appetite for continuous learning, a curiosity and the ability to build deep understanding of regulations and their application to highly complex substances and products.
