Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Research Governance professional who has previous experience of supporting research ethics review processes and is committed to ensuring that LSHTM researchers meet the highest standards of good practice in research and research ethics.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure expert support, advice and guidance to the institution for research ethics
Develop an appreciation of the international contexts relevant to the research undertaken at the School
Work closely with the Chair and Co-Chair of the institutional Research Ethics Committees both in London and with research ethics support roles in the MRC units in Uganda and the Gambia to ensure effective and efficient review of research in accordance with LSHTM standards and expectations

Requirements:

Hold a university science or medical degree, or equivalent experience
Experience of working in a research environment, either in academic, medical or pharmaceutical environment
Ability to critically understand health and social care research methodology
