Job Description

As the Ethics & Compliance Specialist you will provide compliance support on legal issues involving Resmed's government and regulatory compliance. Key deliverables include identifying and proactively eliminating/resolving potential non-compliance risks. Drafting policies, processes and training programs to ensure compliance to regulatory statutes. The Ethics & Compliance Specialist ensures the organization operates in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Job Responsibility

  • Identifying and evaluating potential global risks of non-compliance and developing mitigation strategies
  • Responding to requests for compliance approval for events and activities across the EMEA region
  • Preparing detailed reports, presenting findings, and making recommendations for improvement to management
  • Regularly reviewing and updating internal compliance policies and procedures to align with changing regulations
  • Collaborating with global departments to ensure compliance processes are aligned and providing training to employees on compliance-related issues
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and communicating global and local compliance requirements
  • Assisting with investigations into compliance breaches

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as law
  • 3-7 years experience
  • Experienced in working in a compliance role in the healthcare sector
  • A strong understanding of relevant regulations and proficiency with compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite are also important
  • Business fluent German and English skills

Nice to have

  • Certified in the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics (SCCE) or the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA)
  • Experience in Medical Devices
  • Experience in ESG
