Job Description:

The ETF Sales + Capital Markets Co-op is responsible for supporting the ETF Sales + Capital Markets order handling team with their daily workflows, involving quote entry, post-trade processes, and data analysis. The Susquehanna ETF Sales + Capital Markets Desk brings/directs order flow to our ETF traders / market makers and oversees the customer interaction / order handling / order execution. As an ETF Sales + Capital Markets Co-op, utilizing your technical and analytical skills, you will have daily tasks, projects, and responsibilities that directly impact the trading and operations of the desk, all the while gaining exposure to what the desk does and how it interacts / collaborates with our traders, customers, and operations associates.

Job Responsibility:

  • Entering ETF quotes (hits and misses) into our quote tracking database
  • Monitoring customer based trading activity throughout the day
  • Analyzing data to ensure accuracy of information
  • Sending recaps of trades
  • Leveraging tech skills to improve existing processes and tools

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Access
  • Prior experience with VBA and SQL a plus
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external vendors
  • Detail oriented
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, and resourceful in solving problems
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry or completion of finance- or investment-related coursework a plus
  • Probability and Statistics background a plus
  • Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
