ETD Finance Analyst (Exchange Traded Derivatives) - Capital Markets

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations between front, middle and back office systems for ETD positions, cash and balances
• Analyse P/L variances, ensuring accurate trade capture and accounting treatment
• Support the month-end close processes including journal entries, accruals and balance sheet substantiation
• Partner across Operations, Trading and Finance teams to resolve breaks an discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain and enhance control frameworks to ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards
• Develop, document and periodically review accounting methodologies for ETD products to ensure consistency with firm wide policies and evolving regulatory and accounting standards
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation efforts enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
• Prepare and present management reports and ad-hoc financial analysis

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field or similar/equivalent
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal control frameworks
• Strong experience in Finance or Product Control divisions or similar finance roles within a banking or trading environment
• Strong understanding of Exchange Traded Derivatives, margining and settlement processes
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
