The ESU Program Support completes job duties within the Economic Security Unit (ESU). Our County administered programs must follow State and Federal standards of practice and guidelines. Programs served include, but are not limited to, SNAP, Medical Assistance, Adult Financial, and Colorado Works.
Job Responsibility:
Performs a variety of technical and administrative duties in support of the ESU
Provides community resource referrals, education, and client services using various computer systems or standards of practice
Serves as a customer service representative to internal and external clients regarding ESU Programs
Processes confidential, HIPAA protected documents
Potentially translates documents to Spanish from English and English to Spanish and assists with Spanish speaking clients
Primarily assists ESU Case Managers and the Human Services Front Desk with client and case related duties to assure timeliness and accuracy
Supports local emergencies with access and functional needs assistance before, during and after disasters
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED
Two year’s clerical experience and Spanish language skills preferred
Some knowledge of the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) is beneficial but not required
