We are seeking a qualified Estimator to work collaboratively with our Windows Sales divisions. This position will work from one of our manufacturing or sales locations, or remote work may be considered.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately and promptly quote projects with Sierra Pacific Windows products for Territory Managers in bidding software
Review and effectively communicate discrepancies between floorplans/elevations/schedules clearly in writing to assigned Territory Managers and Dealer customers
Establish reasonable and consistent lead-times for creating quotes based on workload and guidance from your supervisor
Prioritize bids/quotes from assigned Territory Managers and Dealer customers consistently and equitably
Assist other Estimators with project bids as time allows
Requirements:
2 years’ experience in Direct Sales or field experience in new construction is preferred
Proficient in quoting software and knowledge of Sierra Pacific Windows products and options
Deep understanding of building codes, mainly related to safety glazing and egress requirements
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and scale building plans
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Video Conferencing, Foxit Phantom PDF, and Bluebeam
The candidate must have an office with a high-speed internet connection, dedicated workspace, and the ability to accommodate multiple monitors
