We are looking for an Estimator to join a construction team in New Hampshire on a contract-to-permanent basis. This position focuses on building accurate project pricing by analyzing plans, coordinating quote information, and supporting competitive bid development. The ideal candidate brings construction estimating experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with project and field teams in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and related documents to develop complete and accurate estimate inputs
Perform quantity takeoffs and assemble detailed cost calculations for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
Request, review, and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors to support reliable bid submissions
Prepare project estimates and bid packages that align with preconstruction goals and client requirements
Coordinate with project managers and field personnel to confirm scope details, assumptions, and execution considerations
Keep estimating files, pricing records, and supporting documentation organized for tracking and future reference
Requirements
Prior experience in construction estimating is required
Background in commercial construction, civil construction, or both is preferred
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents accurately
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Solid organizational skills and a structured approach to estimate documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel
experience with Bluebeam and PlanSwift is a plus
