Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Analyze quotation requests from representatives, account managers, or clients
Work closely with sales representatives and clients to clarify needs and specifications
Translate customer requirements into actual production parameters
Interpret technical specifications, including substrate type (films, laminates), thicknesses, inks, number of colors, and adhesive requirements
Prepare complete cost estimates: machine time, setup, material consumption, waste, fixed and variable costs
Create and assemble production job files
Validate technical feasibility with production, prepress, and customer service
Optimize costs and propose alternatives when possible
Update calculation matrices and data in the ERP system
Build internal and customer price lists
Maintain accurate project documentation for future reference
Participate in internal meetings regarding new products or complex projects
Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimation and preproduction processes

Requirements:

Knowledge of the preproduction process (technical specifications)
In-depth knowledge of substrates: PE, PP, PET, laminations, barrier films
Understanding of technical parameters: tensions, ink viscosity, anilox rollers, repeats
Strong proficiency in calculating production time, costs, and waste
Good command of Excel and/or an estimating software
Experience with a manufacturing ERP system (Business Central is an asset)
