Estimator

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and present estimates to management and clients
• Monitor and update estimates as project details change, ensuring accuracy and relevance
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents
• Maintain a database of historical cost data to support future estimates
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements
• Review estimates provided by third-party engineering firms for accuracy and completeness
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters
• Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects in chemical facilities
• Analyze project documentation and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate estimates
• Utilize Aspen Cost Estimator and other tools to enhance estimation accuracy
• Conduct cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and maintain budget adherence
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for project stakeholders

• At least 12 years of project management or project controls and related experience in the petrochemical industry
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or engineering industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques
• Proficiency in estimation software and tool
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
